A NOTE FROM THE PASTOR!
Welcome to South Hamilton Baptist Church's presence on the web! We have a saying here,
"We were all visitors at one time", so we hope we can make your time with us as comfortable, enjoyable,
and as spiritually uplifting as possible.
As the sign says, South Hamilton is a Baptist church and part of the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention
and a fully supportive member of the Marion County Baptist Association. We are a Christ led, mission oriented church.
We feel our number one job is to follow the Great Commission which is to go into all the world and preach the gospel of the Lord,
Jesus Christ.
We also feel that this responsibility should begin at home and branch out from there. To evangelize Hamilton is our ultimate goal,
but it doesn't stop there. We feel we have a responsibility to teach a person once they have accepted Christ into their heart.
This is why we have Sunday School, Discipleship Training, Wednesday Night Bible Study and many other extra curricular activities.
We feel a huge responsibility to the children and youth that attend this church. Therefore, we try to offer many activities for them.
As Pastor, I feel it is my responsibility to keep the Church focused on Christ and moving in the direction that He wants the
Church to go in. I sincerely hope and pray that your visit is a pleasant and Spirit filled one. If there is any way I can assist you,
